Fall Festivities

Last weekend was full of Fall fun! Three generations of women went trekking
through the countryside in search of all thinks FALL! My Nana, my Mom,
my Auntie, Cousin, Sister and I loaded into two cars and away we went.

My Cousin, Sister and I

On our outing we saw pumpkins, glorious mums, gourds of every shape
size and color, bundles of rosehips, handmade Halloween and fall decor,
Primitives, antiques, and candles. These was even a splash of Christmas
goodies thrown in already and Hot Cider and cookies were at the ready for
the busy shoppers. Is there anything better than walking around on a crisp
Autumn day with a cup of cider in your hand while you shop!

I don't have many pictures to share of my purchases, although I didn't
come away empty handed. Most of my goodies were bought for a certain
special lady blogger to whom I owe a gift! So no peeking!

We are still new to this type of shopping , special events people pull together
with other vendors to create an at home, comfy, cozy atmosphere, right
out of their backyards, shops, or on one case, a fabulous barn. It was a
wonderful day and one I hope to make an annual tradition.

Christmas is just around the corner, so maybe we'll get lucky and be able
to meet up for another outing soon!

Hi, I'm so glad you came by and joined in for the give-away. I joined you as a follower also. It looks like you had a wonderful day. Fall is just my favorite time of the year and when you can shop for great stuff (with great friends and family) then it's just the very best!
