A Shabby Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday! Thank you to Beverly from Sweet The Sound for hosting for us each week. As you probably know, you can find all the links at Beverly's place!

Today's pink is sort of an ode to Rachel Ashwell and her unique Shabby Chic style. I think this has to be one of my very favorite decorating styles.  How clever she was to market this particular shabby and fabulous look. I think she has an amazing eye for detail and comfort.

I could just sink right in and melt.

The pastel palate goes a long way to soothing the soul.

Now this is a place to give one sweet dreams. However, I might ever want to get out of bed.

Yep. I could definitely sit here and stay a while.

Happy Pink Saturday my Loveleighs and have a delicious weekend!

She is the queen of decor! I think i have the book (I have them all but her latest) most of those pics are from. I never tire of SC, although, I think I've gotten away from the pink. I know I know, shouldn't be saying that on a Pink Saturday post, LOL! xo

So pretty!! I prefer brighter colors when I decorate but I do understand the calming quality of the pastels.

I just want to jump through the screen and land in that soft, deliciously pink bed, take a little nap, get up and go to the pool and then take a bubble bath in the exquisite bath!

Sooo romantic, so shabby and beautiful.
I loved this post!!!!!

Hi Sares!

Oh how I ADORE that bathroom.... And, the living room.......and the pooooool! I agreeeee... Isn't it a yummy style? It seems I get a bit too picky on the chippy stuff and I'm a bit of a perfectionist so leaving my bed unmade is just not for me... It's so fun to look at though....

Huggies!

Hey Sares, What a yummy pink Saturday post. I love the shabby style but not fru fru or foofoo. I like it with some dark old wood mixed in with it and brown leathers too. :)

Oh, don't ya love it? I have all of Rachels books...dreaming one day of a Fairytale cottage where all kinds of fluff and stuff live.

Rain, rain go away, come again some other YEAR! Maybe if we wish hard enough it will go to Texas or somewhere...
