One World, One Heart Blogging Event

"ONE WORLD ONE HEART"

I am participating a very special blogging event, hosted by
A Whimsical Bohemian. In it's 4th year this event promises
to be spectacular and I am so excited to join for the first time
ever. It is a magical way for bloggers from around the world to
connect and meet, that otherwise would never cross each other's
paths. You also have the opportunity to win a giveaway, as that
is the price of admission, you must have some token of affection
to offer a fellow blogger.

My own token is a piece of magic itself, you see...

Once upon a time, there was a sweet Princess that decided to escape the
gloom of the castle and venture out for a walk in the enchanted wood.
She grabbed her magic cloak from the peg and skipped out the door.

The Princess knew the magic cloak, in all it's glory
would keep her warm
and safe from harm.

She had a delightful stroll, walking amongst the flora and the fauna,
the rabbits and the birds, for she had a deep affection for
all the critters of the realm.

Then suddenly, she became very concerned. The winds began to
bluster and blow. She had never seen the winds come upon the
enchanted forest so rapidly.

The leaves upon the air began to spin and whirl...

The Princess tried to run, to hide, but it was of no use.

Up, up it flew...

The whirling swirling twirling winds had snatched the magic cloak
from the Princess and
tossed it upon a tree.

She raced and she raced to catch it, as fast as she could,
but,
alas the winds once again snatched ahold.

Once again the whirling swirling twirling winds tossed the magic cloak
up up up and away as far as the eye could see and beyond.

The winds began to clear and the sunshine showed it's light,
but the magic cloak was gone, in the wind like a kite.

Do you think it's possible the magic cloak
(vintage linen tablecloth in non~magic terms!)
could fly it's way on the whirling swirling twirling winds to you?

If you would like the chance to see, simply leave me a comment
saying the words "magic cloak". I know some people may not be
interested therefore I am using the magic words to ensure the
"vintage linen tablecloth/magic cloak" ends up with someone
who wants such a little piece of magic!

There is only two stipulations, you must have your own blog, as
this is a blogging event, and you must make sure I have a way to
contact you, via your blog or an email address. It doesn't matter
where you live, all Countries are eligible.

The drawing is open until:

February 13th. I will draw a winner on the 14th and announce who
will win the magic cloak on February the 15th!!!

There is still time to join the event if you wish, you may sign up until
February 8th. Click any of the party buttons for all the details.

At last count there were nearly 800 participants! Yes,

I think it will be something very special! I hope to see you there!

As for the Princess, well that's another story...

Hi there,

You put so much love and dedication and time in your presentation -- thanks so much for that. That's truly magical. Of course, I would love to call this Magic Cloak my own -- and I think it must be written in capital letters.

On a side note -- I can't believe how few people seemed to have read your little story. The only thing you asked was to write Magic Cloak... Oh well...

If a glass bead necklace sounds good, you might want to visit my blog. It would be a pleasure to welcome you there. :)

Greetings from Munich,
Birgit
