~~Getting in the Christmas Groove~~

I've been working like a fiend getting things ready for the holidays, namely Christmas,
at All That Jazz. This is the time of year when I make the most stuff, rather than painting furniture since the weather turns wet and cold and I don't have an indoor place to paint.

I have been making ornament after ornament, handmade paper cones, signs, bleaching little trees,  flocking bigger trees, washing up merchandise, pricing and boxing things up. I think I'm 2/3 of the way through everything on my list. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I think I may actually have things finished  well in advance of when I plan to take it in. Usually I'm working up until the same day or the day before. I think the problem may be how to squeeze it all into my space!

By the way~Anyone else that has a space (or not) irritated that we need to work on things before Halloween to have things in the shop before Thanksgiving? I've been listening to Christmas music already to get in the mood!

Hi Sares,

Love your beautiful work for the Christmas shop and sounds like you have been busy, busy.
Always great to work away to Christmas music.

Have a happy week

Crikey is it that time already?? Where on earth did the year go?? You are so organised Sares, I haven't even given Christmas a thought until I read your post and I suppose I should have seeing it's only a month away.

BTW I found some glass (yes real cut glass) knobs while in Tassie, so the wardrobe looks great now. Just need three smaller ones for the drawers and I'll be happy with my room.

Cheers for now and keep on creating.
Hugs,
Sandi
