Pink Saturday~Table Makeover Reveal

Before

Happy Pink Saturday!

Last week I shared this table and asked the question, "To paint or not to paint?".
Needless to say, I decided to paint.

I found this piece online and it reminded me of  the can of Annie Sloan Scandinavian Chalk Paint I've had waiting to be used. I decided to go for it!

After

It turned out a warm salmon pink. I added some Pure White and a dash of Duck Egg Blue to add depth too.

Now I just have to wait and see if someone else likes it well enough to buy it and take it home!

Thank you to Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday for us and be sure to visit her blog How Sweet The Sound for all the pink links.

Happy Pink and have a marvelous weekend!

What interesting pieces...I have a lowboy that has been in my family since the middle 1800's and it is getting a coat of the chalk paint...I can hardly wait to do it. I think the wax that you brush over it will really make it!

The table is quite unique. Love those "nails" on the edge to the table. I think you chose an excellent color.

Happy Pink Saturday Sares Sweetie...
OMG what a wonderful job you did on this table. I love the color, and the touches that show through. SO pretty. It definitely was the right choice to paint. It makes such a statement now. Before it just existed. I LOVE it.

Wonderful job, wonderful share. Now please tell me you have changed your mind and are keeping it, and not putting it in your shop. It is SO beautiful.

Have a gorgeous day sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Lolita Lempicka!!!! Is that Lolita Lempicka's table???? Do you know who she is??? Because if you don't, you may not know that you have a very valuable table right there!!!!

Hi Tara!!! Your table turned out gorgeous! I am so glad you decided to paint it! I must pin it to my board! It doesn't seem like too many people are bold enough to try Scandinavian Pink, but maybe after seeing your table they will be! I love how you staged it with the flower pots, too! I could totally see it out on a covered patio surrounded by garden accessories! I am anxious to hear about how you like your sprayer! I've been toying with the idea of making that investment as well. Sure seems like it would make life easier! I hope you're having a wonderful day and enjoying the sunshine!
Best Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda
