I think I've found some inspiration for my dream "work" space. I'm sure off to the right hand side there, out of sight is plenty of room to paint all that furniture I've been working on for All That Jazz. A dry room with a comfortable temperature, good lighting and no wind blowing things into my wet paint. Yep. A dream space.
I just love the mix of the white woodwork and gray walls with color thrown in. As much as I love looking at photos of beautiful rooms decorated in creams and whites, I need to LIVE in color. The green stool, floral accents and fresh flowers add the perfect splashes of color. This gorgeous room speaks my name. Saaaaarresssss...Saaaaaaarrrresss...
Happy Pink Saturday and thank you Beverly for hosting.
You can find the PS links on her blog How Sweet The Sound.
On a side note, if you are a book lover, please pop over to my previous post HERE to read a review I did on a Novella written by a fellow blogger C. JoyBell C. It's a wonderful book and I would love to spread the word about Saint Paul Trois Chateaux: 1948 and share her amazing work with you fellow pinkies!
Have a great weekend!

I feel the same way about color, Sares! Creamy whites are beautiful in their way - but I would go nuts without color.
Happy PS

What a fabulous blog... I am posting fast so I can go back and read more.
I totally agree with you and color. Sometimes its tough to capture them exactly as we see them.
Have a wonderful summer and great Pink Saturday.

I understand your feelings about inspiration photos. I have a file full. Looking for my "dream" cottage. Once I find it, the poor thing won't know what hit it! ha ha.

Color is so important!!! I could not live in an all white or off white space. Greens, purples, yellows, etc..... Gotta have 'em!!!!!
love those colors ... that photo just sings.
I too love to look at all the whites but need color.
The articles and color go very well together.
it's a wonderful inspiration Sares! I'm with you in that I LOVE white! But it's just not practical with my life. Plus I'm a antique/classics lover and all white rooms really weren't done in the 18th and 19th centuries. Vanna
I can see where this inspires you!! LOVE the bag!
Have a wonderful weekend Sares!!
Love,
LuLu~*xoxo
How pretty! The boots even match the walls....Christine
I love what you said about living in color....I have an almost all white dining room, but I have it spiced up with pretty china and colorful glass. I can't help myself! :) I do love the white furniture I have painted, though, as it is such a wonderful backdrop to my colors! And, my long white lace curtains as it filters the light so beautifully!
As for inspiration? I go broke with all my magazines that I drool over!
HPS!

I love white. I love cream. I love all of their derivites. Mostly I love pastels. That counts as color, RIGHT? Oh well, enjoy

Hi Miss Sares!! I will be thinking of you as I paint this weekend ;o)
I would love a room to paint in like that but I have carpeting in my "craft" room, being that I'm not the most careful painter....not a good idea. I have to paint in the garage and ALWAYS get little flecks of this or that in my painted projet...usually dog hair! Thank you for visiting me, and leaving such lovely comments. I told my hubby there was no way we were getting a 500.00 faucet which he was going to "invest in" (come on, Really?????).... heck, he can invest in some diamond earrings before he spends that on a faucet...LOL!!! Have a really nice weekend! hugs, Jennifer
I just pinned that room photo 'cause I want it, too. *heavy sigh...
Happy Pink, bj

Hey Sares
Who wouldn't want a space like that to create in. I was just up in mine - too much stuff I think. But no time to de-stash now.
Enjoy your Sunday!
Leann
No wind, dry spaces and good light sounds perfect to me Sares. Happy happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful week. xo
Sares I have a pomeranian too! She's the queen of my house! *winks* And I can't wait to receive my book! Vanna
You have such a neat blog! The photo above is excellent. Love the colors.
I hope you get your dream space...you are so talented!
Sareski,
I have a vision in my head that's almost always there, it's a vision that goes like this; I'm standing on top of a very tall ladder, and I have in one hand my bucket of paint and in the other my paint brush, and I'm painting the ceiling with my paint, while the sunlight from the nearby window drenches me in itself and the drops of paint from above me drip onto my face... :) aaahhh.... this post reminds me of that vision... :)
Bells ♥
