Spring Fever

Springtime is popping up all over, some things are even sprouting early
this year due to an unusually warm winter.

I was on the trail of this little birdie for a few minutes, trying to get a
picture, when all at once he saw me, looked me straight in the eye, and
scuttled off. But not before I got my shot!

This one was not so lucky.
He looked me straight in the eye too, but couldn't scuttle anywhere.
I had him
strapped down good and tight.
Dang that mean ole' Auntie.

And THIS one...
I was NICELY informed she didn't like her picture taken anymore.
Since when?! She's always been my best model.
NOW what am I going
do?
I may have to pull out the bribe money.

Finally, the Man Cub was turned loose and was free to roam free.
Like the wild little animal he is, first thing he did was trip over
his own feet and fall down. He didn't seem to mind.

I hope Spring is treating you all well so far. I haven't been blogging much
the last few days, I've had the kiddies quite a lot while their Mama is
working and I've been recovering from the set up of our booth last
weekend. It wasn't as strenuous as I anticipated, just time consuming.
I think it turned out pretty great and I'll share the pictures soon!

Happy Happy Spring!

Oh that silly man cub! :) Sorry to hear the pink princess is denying you photos! Good shot of the bird. They are impossible to get! Can't wait to see pictures of the booth. I hope you are recovering from all the pressure and work. When are you going back in to see how it "looks" now? Always curious to see what gets shimmied around by shoppers!

Haha, the kiddos are just so dang cute! I bet they're loving these spring days even more than us. Spring, shoot practically summer, has made its way to us. We've had temps in the 80's! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE hot weather, but holy toledo, is going to be a LONG summer if the temps are already that high! I've got a lot of spring photos to post too, but like you, don't have time! Busy is good though, right?

Hi Sares!

Glad to hear that all is going well...I can't wait to see pictures of your booth!

And of course, your pictures of spring are absolutely loveleigh. While the grass is turning green, we have yet to see any flowering bushes or trees...the daffodil leaves are beginning to sprout up...it's been an unusually cold and snowy winter here...the opposite of you!

Thanks, as always, for dropping by,

Val

Sares,
Your photos are so lovely. You really have a talent for photography. I know my Grandsons used to grin it up big for the camera, but that has gotten old for them too.
Enjoy your spring day.
Blessings!

Hello Sares,

I can see you had a lovely walk. everything is just beautiful. ANd probably quite refreshing for you guys on the other side of the globe who just experienced winter.

Love the grass surrounding that big old tree. And the tree full of white flowers is a beauty! Though that last tree shown with pink blooms(?) and branches that are bent looks real interesting.

NOw with all these beauty in the surrounding, I'm sure your eyes are delighting most with the company of your nephews and niece :-)

MIzpah,
Li

(Congratulations on the new shop. Love , love , love the blue paint color you chose. I think owning a shop is just the most darling thing to do and has always been a dream. ALso, yes, I think the wee hand was the cutest too :-) )

"Spring has sprung" in a most delightful way. The PNW has been unusually sunny, so our plum tree and Daffodils have sprouted (very) early. The smells are invigorating.
I love seeing the spring colors in your photos. I especially enjoyed seeing Man cub frolicking in the sunshine.
Sweet Sares...I want to thank you for your visit..it meant a lot to me.
Your words brought me such comfort at an extremely difficult time. Your support touched my heart deeply. I so greatly appreciated your concern for our losses.
Sweet wishes,
Sara

Hi my friend...we have at least two things in common...I bet you can't look at a gnome without thinking of me and I can't see a bird without thinking of you. I can hardly wait to see pictures of the booth! I reset mine last Monday. Business has been looking up! Yeah! It's really just a hobby for me, but I love it!

Beautiful pictures of the loveleigh spring flowers, trees, birds, kiddos and so on!! Wish I could have enjoyed some of the nice weather we had, but gotta work, at least I can go outside quite a bit, unlike my last job!
