A Little Fun For Your Brain...

If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your
right brain.

If you see it her tuning the other way, you are using your left
brain. Some people do see both ways, but most people see
it only one way.

See if you can make her go one way and then the other by
shifting the brain's current.
BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN.

Experimentation has shown that the two different sides or
hemispheres of the brain are responsible for different manners
of thinking. The following table illustrates the differences
between left-brain and right-brain thinking:

Left Brain~~~~~~ Right Brain

logical~~~~~~~~~ random
sequential~~~~~~ intuitive
rational~~~~~~~~ holistic
analytical~~~~~~ synthesizing
objective~~~~~~~ subjective

looks at ~~~~~~~~ looks at
parts of things~~~ things as a whole

Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these
styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and
equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to favor
left-brain modes of thinking, while down playing the right-brain
activities. Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking,
analysis, and accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand,
focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity.

If you look away, she may switch from one direction to the other.

I hope you all have fun with this, I know I did. I always see
her turn clockwise. The first time, I could see her switch and
turn both ways. Now, I'll be darned if I can't see her do both
again, only clockwise. HMMM, I might be here a while...

I tried so hard to see both, but only could see her turning left. Weird because I would swear I am a righty from the description but I guess I'm a lefty.

That is so weird, because I could only see her turning right!! The brain is amazing. No matter how hard i tried, stopped and started...she went right. ;)

I just checked back in. Now I see it going clockwise. My daughter sees it going both ways.

Yep, I'm a left brain gal . . . I did see her turn clockwise briefly but back to counter . . . . I'll try again later once I've "woken" up! Have a great day! :) Marsha

LOL, now that I've had my coffee and woke up, I was wrong, I see her going clockwise . . . . and I'm pretty sure that's what I saw when I first saw her . . . but of course I was still half asleep so who knows, ha ha ha

I saw he turning clockwise at first. Then I looked away and then saw her turning the other way. WOW! This is so neat!

Very interesting! I guess I am using my right brain because it is turning clockwise and I cannot get it to turn the other way....Christine

Clockwise for me too, but that doesn't surprise me! I'm as right-brained as they get! ;) Fun!
