Beautiful. Is it Ireland? Where ever it is, it's beautiful!

Thanks for dropping by and leaving such kind comments! I know that I've been by before (perhaps on a Pink Saturday or a Blue Monday?), but today I signed up to follow!

Your posts are wonderful!

Blessings to you in that beautiful Pacific Northwest from the prairie of Kansas,

Valerie

And yes, Mary was all about showing off her party hat. In fact, I was a bit ashamed as the "adult" in me didn't really want her to wear it to dance class that night. (She finished it up about 10 minutes before we had to leave and the mean mommy in me said no to glitter and glue.) :(

Anyway, as you can imagine, she was a hit among the other dance class mommies and I got kudos for allowing her to wear it. (I didn't divulge my secret!)

Needless to say, she was asked to remove the hat for actual dance class as it was a bit distracting! LOL

Hi Sares,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice note on my quotes pages. As far as good techiques, maybe just google mixed media, there should be lots that come up. I would just get either cardstock or watercolor paper and start small, atc size or 4x4. Get a digital collage sheet or even use pics from magazines and some background papers, glue stick, paint and starting playing. Trying to think of the name of that new magazine Somerset Studio just published, I think it is the apprentice, should be lots of good ideas in there.
