Autumn Days Are Here

I am off for the weekend to usher Autumn in with gusto! Friday night kicks off our Harvest Night Sale
where we have our booth.  There will be lots of stores participating in the downtown area and things will be marked from 20-50% off. Our booth will be 25-30%.

Saturday we plan to hit some local Autumn Harvest sales. Can you say...

Antiques
Primitives
Handmades
Country Furniture
Pumpkins
Candles
Rosehips
Old quilts
Rusty Farm Junk
fall flowers
Cornstalks
Signs
Garden Art

Sound like fun?!!!

I'm looking forward to it! These type of sales are what inspired us to start our own booth to begin with.
We would love to do sales on our own "Ranch" but that is dream for the future! We're waiting for the ranch first. Or hitting the lottery in order to afford the ranch. Pipe dream but a dream nonetheless.

On a side note, please say a little prayer for my sweet and ornery Foo Foo Girl. She had to go to the vet this morning to get her teeth cleaned and a tooth extraction. 10 teeth to be exact. Poor thing. She has to stay all night because of her age, nearly 14. I am certain she is NOT a happy camper. I have only been away from her 2 or 3 nights in her entire 14 years. I keep tuning around expecting to see her and think I'm catching sight of her out of the corner of my eye. Weird. The one thing I don't miss~the yapping. But I miss HER.
The Vet said she's on some pretty heavy duty pain killers though so she's probably doing better than me!

Have a terrific weekend my loveleighs and Happy Pink to any of you Pinkies!

A "Jazzy" Fall

We got the booth all decked out for Fall last weekend. Preparations were being made for our big 4 hour Harvest Night Sale this Friday.

As you can see I also decked out Loveleigh Treasures for the new season. I just love all the bright
colors. Oranges, reds, golds and purples!
I hope Autumn is treating you well where you live!

Another Makeover

The latest in a long line of makeovers for the booth. A Goodwill find. The attendant said a little old man brought it in. I wonder if it was his or his children's dresser because it's a petite little thing, fit for a child.

It was terribly scratched and nicked up. I sanded it with my trusty mouse sander.

Isn't it amazing what some paint and new hardware can do!

I think this is my favorite so far. I think I say that every time. Hmmm...

Some new treasures moving to the both for Fall. The more rust the better!

The roasting pans and pots will hold mums and asters and the fruit basket will be stocked with apples for our Harvest Night Sale. I still have lots to do to pull everything together and I have a little Man Cub running around. At least he's cute to look at, even if he IS trouble!

I do hope you are all having a fantabulous week!

A Shabby Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday! Thank you to Beverly from Sweet The Sound for hosting for us each week. As you probably know, you can find all the links at Beverly's place!

Today's pink is sort of an ode to Rachel Ashwell and her unique Shabby Chic style. I think this has to be one of my very favorite decorating styles.  How clever she was to market this particular shabby and fabulous look. I think she has an amazing eye for detail and comfort.

I could just sink right in and melt.

The pastel palate goes a long way to soothing the soul.

Now this is a place to give one sweet dreams. However, I might ever want to get out of bed.

Yep. I could definitely sit here and stay a while.

Happy Pink Saturday my Loveleighs and have a delicious weekend!

Music Man

Man Cub's big sister is playing an instrument for school.
And since big sister's instrument is worth a pretty penny he needs to keep his little man cub mitts
OFF.

So he thought he needed to have one too.
This was the solution.

It's tuff work bein' a rock star.

The little rock star would like to thank his other Auntie who went guitar shopping with him and
his Nanette and Bumpa for providing the funds to begin his journey to stardom...

where he will make lots and lots of money and support us all in the style to which we would
love to become accustomed!

Another Year, Another Grade

She's moving on up the scholastic ladder, my beautiful niece. This Auntie dragged her hiney out of bed at 7:30 to make sure I got her 1st day of school picture. I apologize for the quality of the picture, it was so gloomy and dark here and the flash wasn't working properly. Par for the course with the weather here in these parts this year. We've hardly had any sunshine which is a stinker since the dreary months last about 8 months in the Pacific Northwest. Summer is usually when we EXPECT to get some SUN! Better luck next year I guess.

This one was SO good while we waited for Sissie at the bus stop. It was a long wait.
An hour and ten minute wait.
Yep.
They put the kid on the wrong bus. Fun times.

I have hope that tomorrow will go more smoothly.

And so begins another school year!
