Shiver Me Timbers!

Some chilly weather has moved into town. We're talking highs
of 35 and
lows of 13 degrees.

Yep. You read it right . Tonight it's expected to reach 13 degrees. I was
unaware we were living at the NORTH POLE! Sheesh it's cold. I am in no
way complaining about the lack of rain, it has been absolutely gorgeous
out. Nothing but blue skies.

But even the spiders have abandoned their webs. They've probably found
a nice warm spot in the house to hunker down. Just great for the humans
that have to co-habitate with them.

And the wee little birdies have flown the coup too. I'd have gone to
Florida
if I were them. Since there's no hope of me going to Florida,
I'm still
holding out for some of THIS...

snow

If it ever warms UP!

Have a great week my loveleighs.

But Dear One, may I say that your blog is taking an awfully lonnnnnnnng time to load, these days... It took me ages to just scroll down through this post, to be able to get to where I can Comment.

I know this sounds picky, and none of my business, really. But it just might drive some people away, even though they really want to Comment.

Just saying...

Gentle hugs,

FYI....I've had the same problem as Aunt Amelia's Attic....just to let you know.

You asked me to check, if your blog is loading faster now... But I'm sorry to say, not much.

As to the possible "Why's" of this... I recently put Snow Effect on and tested my blog loading, with/without it. Snow Effect added to load time. :-(

I also know that lots of the very, very sweet free Backgrounds add much, to scrolling time of blogs. [Or perhaps, the effect is a jumpy effect... but not quick/smooth anyway]

And another issue is blinking/moving gadgets on Sidebar, etc. They look cute but.... Add to load time. :-(

Now I know that many people just don't seem to notice such, and I may well sound like an alarmist. Plus not many will _say_ that a blog is slow. [But thank you Cora, for saying she is having the same problem] So... all in all... it is totally up to each individual, how she wants to set up her blog.

Hope I didn't speak out of turn...

I always love the fist snow when it is all powdery! It has to be on a weekend though so most poeple don't need to get out on the road. I do miss getting one good snow...but not enough to fly up north! Hee Hee!
