Holiday Craziness

Two Aunties and a Cub

I realize I've been absent from the scene the last few days. All the Holiday

madness got to me! The shopping, the decorating, the food, the shopping,
more decorating, more shopping! I think I've got a pretty good handle on it
now though. In the midst of it all we managed to attend the annual tree
lighting ceremony. The Man Cub got to see the lights with his two Aunties
and Cousin Pony Girl. By the way, that's me on the right holding the
Cub in case you were wondering!

I have to make note of the fact that when you take a two year old to a

park, the appeal is not waiting patiently for the lights to come on, but
running around like a little madman chasing every kid in sight. Even though
it's dark outside. Holding still while Auntie and Cousin Pony Girl get a
decent shot with the camera...forget about it. You take your chances and
hope you get lucky.

I finally did. Out of all the shots I got this ONE decent picture of a Man Cub.
The rest were junkers.

My Cousin Pony Girl taking a picture of me.
What FUN we had shopping last weekend
!

ME. The blog neglector. Having fun while my poor ladies
are ignored. SHAME on me!

My big Sister and I, multi-tasking. Trying to get our picture taken while
keeping one eye on the Cub.

Finally the lights come on! The Man Cub was amazed for all of 5 seconds and
then he was ready to hit the ground running again. However we soon left. It
was getting cold and the adults were tired from a long day of shopping. I
enjoyed it though. I've never been to the lighting before and they had some
great singers singing Christmas music and the weather was perfect.

I'm back on track now, so I'm off to make the rounds to visit everyone
and see what YOU have all been up to. I missed you all!

Hi, Sares,
The lighting of the Christmas tree sounds like the perfect way to get the holiday season started. Your little man cub is a darling even when he won't hold still for a picture! Have a blessed and happy week, sweet friend! Vicki

Very sweet! I love your new look for your blog! And I have to know where you got the sleeping puppy picture! hehe I'm glad you all had fun. I have to get pics made with me in them. My sister and I are going to have a day where we take pictures. Oh joy the annual kids crying for the Christmas pics! hehe They all grumped about last year. But with cupcake over a year old now I don't think she will be "sitting" any time soon! I had a great time this past weekend. I did very little shopping but got good stuff. I do have to stop shopping for me now! My nephews want really expensive stuff now. Have a wonderful week!
Hugs, Lisa

Hey, Sares! It's ME, Renee'! I've been sending you emails with my shipping info (I was the #3 winner of the giveaway), but it seems you're not getting them. Spam folder, maybe?? PLEASE don't think I'm not interested! I don't know how else to get the info to you. Please check your junk folder and let me know if they're in there -- there would have to be like 3 emails by now. Thanks!

Btw, love the pictures from today. Such a fresh, young face you have! And love the new banner -- so pretty!!

Okay, let me know. Thanks!

You have been having holiday fun and I'm sure no one begrudges you that Sares. Those are such adorable pictures, I especially liked seeing YOUR loveleigh face. Your sis is a cutie petutie too! Of course the man cub needs to be pinched and bitten on those cheeks... yummy thing!

TY for visiting me - I've been wayyyy long missing in action, but one can only do so much. I move in less than 2 weeks. YIPPEEEEE! Can't wait to get this thing done. What a process.

I have a great video on my blog today, it made me cry. But in a proud and grateful way, hard to explain... Anyhow, continue having a great holiday season with your family, I think that is what you SHOULD be doing! xJ

There you are Sares. You are pretty as a cupcake...yes, that is a fine compliment! I love that little man cub...almost makes me want one but I'm not rushing the granny thing...that's for sure. Keeping you tucked in my prayers, especially now that I can see who I'm saying prayers for! You'll see pics on my blog if you scroll down to the nickname section.
