Pink Saturday

One of my most favorite pink things in the world is my Foo Foo's little pink nose.
I even have a little song I sing to her about it which I will not be sharing,
for fear of humiliating myself.

When she was a little tyke, her nose was black, it began to turn lighter as she got older. She's now twelve. Yes she is wearing a baby onesie in the picture below, we used to dress the poor thing up (before I had nieces and nephews supplied to me!) for entertainment value. No she did not like it and I now find it a little embarrassing that I did this to her.


Now the only clothing she wears is a sweater, once or twice a year when it's very cold out, and I put a raincoat on her once this winter when I took her for a walk in the rain. She does not like this still. She has traumatic flashbacks from her childhood I think and expresses this fact verbally when clothing is applied. I know she's thinking,"Just leave me the #$*! alone you foolish human", but what's a little doggie to do. I'm bigger and stronger, although sometimes I think, not smarter! I know she still loves me though and I love her and her little pink button of a nose!!!
