All at once on a cold, yet sort of sunny day back in February, two little clumps of mystery plants broke their way through the wet soil. These little guys were a mystery because,
#1. I am no expert on garden plants
#2. I couldn't remember what came up here in this spot last year
#3. However, I am not a complete nimcompoop and was fairly certain these would be tulips or daffodils when they grew up
So I decided to document their progress with weekly snapshots. Then the flowers would have the memories to look back on when they are old enough to appreciate it.

That was fun! I had no idea, either! I like that color of daffodil. Looks like egg yolk! ;) Now pick some for a vase before they die, those don't bloom too long!
That WAS fun, and they're beautiful!!! lol (I kept guessing every picture) and I was wrong. (Hubby has the green thumb around here) lol

Cute post, love the blooming process!
Wow! I was shocked that I knew what they were by the first picture. I normally don't know what most plants are but I knew these. They are so pretty and cheerful! I love them.
Hugs,
Joanne
