I begin this Independence Day post with a beautiful sky, may
we be so lucky as to continue to have these here in America as
we celebrate her 233rd Birthday and all that it means. We can
only continue to Pray and Hope that someday, people all
around the world will one day hold all the freedoms and
liberties that being an AMERICAN affords those that live here.
Count your Blessings. I know I do EVERY day!
I know there are A LOT of photos in this post, but please hit
play on the Playlist to hear the beautiful song "God Bless
The USA" and then...
Come on a journey with me to see a bit of what makes our
Homeland so special, unique, and a place that carries all the
possibilities of HOPE.
God Bless America and all she holds on her Land. Have a safe
and Happy 4th Of July!!!

Sares...I am truly touched and moved by this post...I think that you have put SO much thought into putting these pictures together in this post, gathering them...so much thought here...I love how you didn't forget to put in the picture of the American Indian and the hamburger! hahahahahahahahaha! I feel like crying, I'm very touched... :)
This is a fantastic post and tribute to our glorious country.
Each image speaks to my heart.
Oh Sares........that was THE MOST beautiful Independence Day post. You so captured this great land and all it stands for! I LOVED it! Simply perfect. Yes, for the record....weeping.
I've actually been to the Arizona Memorial in Hawaii.......one of the most moving experiences of my life. First you see a movie about WWII and Pearl Harbor....then they put you on a little boat and take you out to the Arizona. After the movie everyone filed out silently....rode on the boat in silence.....then went onto the Memorial silently. It was so moving....I was in awe as obviously everyone else was. Did you know Elvis Presley spearheaded the building and financing of the Arizona Memorial?
Have a fabulous Independence Day...
Hugs,
Spencer
Absolutely awesome, thanks!
Great patriotic post. Love the scenic beauty of our country and the photos honoring those who protect and defend our freedoms.
