A Nantucket Cottage/Pink Saturday

I found this delightful little Nantucket Cottage on the Country Living web-
site. I thought it was just the perfect place to escape to in the Summer. It
just SCREAMS beach living to me!

Don't you just wish you could hang out here for the Summer...

with the beach just
steps out the front door,
warm sand between your toes,
the smell of suntan lotion on your skin
and the ocean breeze in your hair...

Pink Saturday amendment: I didn't realize I was supposed to post for PS today
as I didn't see my name on the email list Beverly sent out earlier in the week.

So to all you pinkies out there joining in for Beverly's Pink Saturday, here is
a dose of PINK!

Hop on over to How Sweet The Sound to find more pink and have

a loveleigh weekend!

Oh my gosh! I love this. I have to tell you that when we moved into the house we are in now... I painted all the rooms very vibrant colors like these. The kitchen was the same orange here, the living room was bright yellow and the office , which I am currently in a similar green. my son used to joke that we lived in a fruit bowl. ha! Since then, more muted shades have been painted , except for the green, but I plan on changing that soon. Loved this.. thanks for sharing.
Blessings~

I DO wish I could retreat there. It looks so peaceful and warm and isolated. Besides, it's near the seaside so there would always be a breeze and such natural beauty there. Oh, a girl can dream... Theresa

Well it certainly is a cheerful place Sares. But you can keep the sand between your toes...oh yuk! I think I must be a mountain girl at heart.

Well...in our dreams we can be there right now...love those plates...a cold ham sandwich...lemonade and a brownie...I'll meet you there at noon!
Off to set up my booth at the Aurora Antique Mall today...I'll take pictures! I closed my show case in town because it was not doing very well and I do better with a booth. Some folks don't want to bother asking for a key to see something in a showcase I find.

Hello Sares,

I miss the beach . . . miss miss miss! No nearby beach here and for a month we have noting but rain rain rain and a typhoon. The day really look gloomy and cold! And so seeing these colors makes me a happy girl. Love that each room of the house have different wall colors. Then the splash of different ones here and there makes it much fun! A happy place for me :-)

Belated Happy PS!
(i hope this comment goes through as I'm having trouble with other blogs)
