Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Happy Mother's Day
to all the Moms out there in Bloggerville!

Generations of the ladies in my family...
Mother's and Daughters...

Mothers and daughters

Were daughters and mothers

Not so long ago.
We give and take
And take and give
Along time's endless row.
Love is passed
And love received
To be passed on again:
A precious heirloom
Twice, twice blessed,
A spiritual cardigan.
I'll put it on And treasure it,
The me I have received,
And when the roles
Reverse again,
I'll have what I most need.
So may our love
Go on and on,
A hundred thousand years;

Mothers and daughters,

Daughters and mothers,

Through joys and other tears.

~Nicholas Gordon

Happy Mother's Day to my VERY special Mother

I LOVE you!

What a fabulous post! How loveleigh to see all the generations, and the poem is just perfect.

On another subject, yes you could definitely tweak your blog wider. Technical stuff: 970px is the size most small monitors will show on the default resolution of 1024 x 768 - so you could comfortably increase your width up to about 1000px without it making much different to anyone. They'll still see all of the posting area even if they don't necessarily see all of the background.

Hope this helps, and Happy Mother's Day.

Sares, it has been a long time without leaving you a little note. I love the collage and when I saw your mom's picture I thought, Oh My God, Sares is a kid. I missed your age somehow, always thinking most of the blogs I follow are middle aged ladies. You are cute and young and talk wiser than your years. I promise I will visit more often since life is going back to normal around here. Happy Mother's day to you all, Marta.

Hello Sares,

It's amazing that your family have kept all these pictures from generations before. Truly a treasure! Must be very overwhelming to see all this for the first time.

Sometimes I find it hard that my Mom (well both my parents) being so young and doing what I'm doing LOL. I like the poem and true. Though I'm not a Mom yet but I do thinkk so too :-)
