Pink Saturday

Welcome to the PINK! Please be sure to see Beverly from How Sweet

The Sound to see all the pink links, you'll find lots of options there!

Every girl needs a set of wheels.
If they're PINK, all the better!

B-Dazzled by the beauty of the bike are you?

Even the shoes are PINK. A girl has to accessorize.

Sometimes the boys will even choose PINK.

If given no other option!

My first bike was green, with silver sparkles in the paint.
It also had the ugliest banana seat known to man,
but man oh man was she a smooth ride!

Do you remember YOUR first bike?

Happy Pink Saturday my LOVELIEGHS!

Okay, was your bike a hand-me-down from me?? I ask because my first bike was green with sparkles in it, and a white banana seat! I just can't imagine that we are related and both had the same bike!? ;)
Love seeing my man-cub, even though he "doesn't like his-shell" anymore!

There's nothing like coming to visit you and pink is the passion of the day! I remember well my first bike...It was a little red trike and then I graduated to a banana seat much like yours. I pretended it was my car and oh, the places I traveled. Remember getting on your brave girl panties and wizzing down your first hill scared out of your mind but having the time of your life? Cheers to the memories!

Reminds me of my very first "real" bike-- my papap (grandfather) made it just for me! Painted it all pink like that, too! I LOVED it! Rode on it to everywhere! :) :)

Hi Sares,
I remember my first bike. It was green with silver fenders! LOL
I wrecked it more times than I can count and lived with gravel in my knees. But, I love it just the same.

I now have a pink bike/trike. My Sissie bought it for me for my birthday. He figured three wheels would keep me balanced!

Your pictures are darling.

hugs

Beautiful pinks again Sares. My first bike was blue and white from Sears. It had a small headlight on the front and was the bomb! I thought I was in heaven!! Sure wish I still had it too!

Fun post. Love the pink bike and the boy daring enough to ride it. Seems like the bike I learned on was too big, blue, and old. but I loved my ten speed. Hope you have a lovely day.

Well, they do say real men wear pink :-)

I never owned a bike. But a friend used to own one while we were kids and I tried it but never really got the hang of it. Oh well :-)

Sares~ My most memorable bike was my blue "Stingray" with a sliver glitter "BANANA" seat!! It had a beautiful white wicker basket, but when I was ridding at warped speed I hit a utility pole. It wasn't as bad as it sounds, I was fine but my wicker basket got munched. So, my folks bought me a brown plastic wicker basket, hoping it would hold up better. My Stingray was so sleek!

Now, I want a beach cruiser with another white wicker basket, hopefully it won't meet the same demise as the first, lol.

Sweet wishes,
Sara
