Pink Saturday

It's time to get your PINK on! Our hostess Beverly from How Sweet The

Sound pulls it all together for us every week, bless her heart. Be sure to
visit her blog to find over 100 links to PINKNESS!

Today I'm going to share my PINK Christmas. Every year my sister and I
exchange gifts, she's my favorite person to shop for! Well imagine my
surprise and delight when present after present came out of it's
wrappings
and they were pink. It was a pink extravaganza!

This pretty pink rose tray was the biggest surprise. I had my eye on this all
last Summer and considered buying it. Well when my sister and I went
shopping before Christmas, she saw it and bought it for me, all on the sly.
She picked the perfect thing and didn't even know I thought about
buying it myself. She has terrific taste too! I guess it was just meant
to come home to me!

I also got a yummy smelling bar of soap, a pink chap stick and a pretty pink
nail-polish which I forgot to take a picture of. Do you think she wants
me to pretty myself up a bit, LOL?!

This sparkly candle holder was also part of the gift, it's not pink and

my Sister said she's take it if I didn't like it. She considered keeping it
for herself anyway, to which I replied, "NO WAY!" This baby is stayin'
with me!

Then I unwrapped a set of soft pink pillowcases, on my bed as we speak, a
cute hot pink hat, handy for those winter walks and a bike bell.

Yep, my VERY own pink bike bell. This puppy is going to find it's way to my

handlebar this Spring and I'm going to annoy people left and right with it.
Just kidding. I do love it though and plan to use it...sparingly!

Thank you for sharing my Pink Saturday with me and make sure
to have a splendid weekend my loveleighs!

Oh Sares...
Happy Pink Saturday sweetie. I so love your pinks. I agree that tray is so beautiful. I can think of a zillion uses for it.

Love that bell. I would ring, ring, ring it as I circled the block to let dear husband know I was circling again. He would love it too. Maybe for my birthday????Hmmm he and I will have to have a talk. My bike is blue tho, so I am afraid it will have to be blue to match. Maybe he will repaint my bike and I can have a pink one. Let me write that note down.

I love the soap. I can almost smell the fragrance as I sit here writing. Yummy.

Thanks for sharing Sares. I so love to come and visit.

Country hugs sweetie and so much love...Sherry

Now for your plan for the bell . . . want to really try it? Maybe you can for a little while and see how it goes LOL It's very cute looking and I don't think you'd be able to ressist not ringing it even of only once during the ride :-)

What a lovely tray. I quite see why you were yearning for it.

Love the bike bell: mental! Just my kind of thing... I'm thinking I should get one for when I have to do heavy shopping (cans, potatoes, bottled water) and have to use one of those awful wheely trolleys (any excuse for a bell like this.)

I am very saddened that I've had to put word verification back on due to my email address being hijacked on Friday, so I spent most of yesterday doing damage limitation. So I'm now moderating AND have word verification (which I will take off again in a week or so, once the hackers get the message). So I apologise for that.

Hence, an apologetic and belated Happy Pink Saturday on Sunday!

Oh Happy Pink Saturday! I think shopping for sisters is always the most fun! My sister surprised me with some good things this year too! Thank you for the birthday wishes for mommy!!

Hello. It's Marta again. I was going back answering all the comments left in my blog and I realized I did reply to yours but I did not answer your ? about my husband wearing pink. Well, he did once, I bought him a pink shirt and aqua pants and he wored them! We were just engaged then. He saw the picture sometime ago and laugh about it. He called it his metrosexual clothes. The only thing is that 23 years ago they called men that wear pink something else. It's amazing what people do for love. One more?. I love your name and have never hear it before. Tell me about it. I will mention it to my friend having a girl, its beautiful. Blessings, Marta.
