Watercolor Works of Art

I've known for quite some time that my niece had a talent for drawing. She can create the most amazing cartoons and drawings. However I was astonished when she sat down at the counter to paint with her brother and whipped out this watercolor fairy in 10 minutes flat. The girl's got mad skills. But since I'm her Auntie I could be prejudiced.

The Man Cub is quite the art-eest as well. His work takes on a more abstract
and modern flair!

Hope you all had a fabulous week and I REALLY hope you have a fabulous WEEKEND!

What a talented pair you have there Sares, your niece certainly has flair and I think the Man Cub has a little Picasso hidden somewhere deep inside.

Warmest hugs XXX

Sareski,

I really do like that watercolor of the fairy! It's very different, it has a feeling to it! It's almost poignant!

I used to paint with my son ALL THE TIME, every afternoon out on our balcony, through all his growing up years! We used non-toxic, washable paint (of course) we started when he was 2 and we continued playing with paint! We would sit out on flattened cardboard boxes and just do whatever we wanted with that paint! :) As an older child now, he's very into abstract painting and has pulled off a few Picassos of his own! :) They were displayed in his school and auctioned! :) That's a really good abstract by the man cub!
